Snip and sew

First up? Resizing an XXL chambray dress shirt. Old Navy is pretty big as is, so with an XXL I cut off quite a bit. 
Cut your sleeve and surge/zigzag hem whatever you want, it ends up being folded up anyway.  Trim the bottom to the length you want. Take the sides in first to fit then cut excess afterwards. Voila!

Next I turned this size 16 floor length skirt into a shorter scalloped skirt using this tutorial as a guide. I didn't use freezer paper as in step 6. Instead I just drew on the fabric directly. As for making the skirt smaller? Just take it in and cut afterwards!
