Twisty Bikini Top

Hooray! I found the memory card reader! Here's something I just finished about 20 minutes ago. I'm sure lots of you have seen this on Pinterest everywhere and well Nhung wanted one and I have all the time in the world.
from Etsy
Mine
Materials:
lyrica nylon, spandex, or bathing suit fabric ~1/4 yd of two different colors
old bra (nothing too thick or padded -won't fit under machine!)
thread, pins, sewing machine etc
1. Cut out 2 pieces roughly 8" x 15". My blue piece is shorter because it's left over from my other project.
2. Fold in half right sides together and sew to make a tube.
3. Turn the tube right side out.
4. Fold both pieces in half
5. Link one piece to the other
6. Lay the 2 pieces on top of your bra and pin the middle overlap to keep in place. You may need to cut your bra in the middle because
7. Pin the edges to the bra. You don't want it to be visible in the front. The middle picture shows the front of the bra with the covering blue top flipped up so that you can see the pins from just the edges. You're trying to avoid all visible seams in the front. Make sure to cut all straps and bands from the bra.
8. Sew the edges to the bra. Don't need to fold over because it won't fray. Notice how the top is flipped up while sewing. The picture only shows sewing the top but sew ABOVE the underwire!
9. Flip the everything over so it covers all seams and sew down the edge. Stretch the fabric across as you do this to make the twist more visible.
10. For the back cut out a piece 8" x length of your band. Take off an inch or 2 because this is stretch fabric.
11. Again sew a tube. Pull the tube through one cup to line up the edges of the tube and twisted piece. Sew it down so the 2 pieces are attached.
12. Cut out the bra clasps and pin both to the back pieces and decided where you want them placed. Because the tube is opened at one end, sew so through only the inner side making sure the seam isn't visible.
13. With out sides together sew the two back pieces together. Because of the clasps it will still fit and can be adjusted.
